How do I move my library from Bookshelf?

Export your library from the Bookshelf app as a ZIP file, then pick it in Pagio. Your collections, reading history, notes and quotes come along.

Export from Bookshelf

  1. 1Open BookshelfOpen the Bookshelf app and head to the Stats tab.
  2. 2Open Its SettingsTap the Settings button at the top of the Stats tab.
  3. 3Find Import & ExportScroll the Settings list and tap “Import & Export”.
  4. 4Export Your LibraryScroll all the way down, tap “Export Library”, and save the ZIP file to Files.

Import into Pagio

  1. 1Open SettingsIn Pagio, open Settings and tap Import Books.
  2. 2Choose BookshelfPick Bookshelf, tap Pick a Bookshelf Export, and choose the ZIP file just as it is. There’s no need to unzip it.
  3. 3Choose What to KeepReview your books and pick which ones to bring over.

What Comes Along

  • Each book’s reading status, abandoned books included
  • Your collections, and your wishlist and borrowed books as shelves
  • Every past read, with its dates
  • Your notes and quotes, in each book’s Notes and Favorite Quotes
  • Genres, from your categories

Pagio matches each book with its cover and details as it goes. On the free plan you pick which books to bring over, up to the limit.
